Our youth is spent establishing a life with a focus on what we perceive equates to success, but at some point, we begin to question whether or not this is enough. Many of us begin to yearn for something more…something bigger than ourselves. We encounter a very human desire that our lives are meant to matter and have meaning.
Here begins the life transition from driven for success to the drive for significance. We search for the answers to these elemental questions: Who am I? What drives me? What has been? What does the world need? What am I here for? It is in this quest for significance that we discover what it means to be truly successful.
When attempting to define success, it’s the feeling of complete satisfaction that comes from discovering our superpowers and fulfilling our purpose in life that we ultimately describe. This is because people need PURPOSE in their lives. We are hardwired to lead a life of Significance and Meaning.
